As part of their ‘Conflicts through time’  work in History, Year 6 learnt about the famous 1914  Christmas Truce. They started the day listening to the story and finding out about why this event was so special. The children then recreated the game and completed some independent work of their choice. It was lovely to bring a little bit of history to life.
