What a super Art lesson we had today in Y4! The children first used their knowledge of creating structured patterns in more sophisticated outline shapes in preparation for starting their main abstract portraits. Next they were introduced to their focus artist- Gustav Klimt- and made detailed colourful information sheets about his great works and artistic style to help them develop their own artworks. I was very impressed with the 100% effort demonstrated by them all. Very well done children!
