Captain Chemistry came to visit Year 6 on Friday and the children were challenged to think about how to classify living things. The children impressed Richard with their prior knowledge for this task and he then set them the challenge of coming up with a way of classifying different sets of Duplo. The children came up with some very inventive strategies. The children then used this knowledge to classify lots of different plastic animals. This led to some excellent discussion from the children.
