Jools, Ivy and Anna listened to the plight of Staryland and how the island had been deserted by it’s leader.

The pupils had to decide who the next leader of Staryland should be, after listening to the candidates give their reasons why they should be elected.

The children got to sit in the impressive council chamber, then cast their vote in the ballot box, before listening to the result being announced by our Mayor, back in the council chamber.

A super morning which showed us how important it is and how lucky we are to live in a democracy.
