Captain Chemistry spent a day in school recently, demonstrating a range of Scientific concepts to different classes:

Year 3

Year 3 had so much fun on Friday with Captain Chemistry. They looked at the different parts of the flower and how important each part of the flower is and the roles they carry out.They children looked at the different parts of the flower under the microscope

Year 4

What an awesome workshop with Captain Chemistry. We had so much fun making our own digestive system, which really helped us see how our body works! Thanks Captain Chemistry we loved it!

Year 5

Year 5 had a fantastic lesson with Captain Chemistry. We were learning all about the different forces and we made our own rockets. Then, we got to test them out – it was so fun!

Year 6

Year 6 learnt lots about light during their session with Captain Chemistry. They leant about how light travels in a straight line and how different lenses work in telescopes. They were also introduced to the concept of refraction. Thank you Richard for a very interesting session.
