Thanks to The UK Parliament Education Service, Years 4, 5 and 6 were able to take part in a 1 hour virtual tour of the Houses of Parliament, where they learnt many fascinating facts about the history of our Parliament and the work of our MPs. The children viewed both the House of Lords and the House of Commons and they ended the session with a live Q&A session with Jarrow MP Kate Osborne. It was a great afternoon and we would definitely recommend this opportunity to other schools.
