Year 6 have just returned from a brilliant week at Thurston in the Lake District. Despite the weather, the children accepted all challenges thrown their way and experienced a range of outdoor adventures, including ghyll scrambling, canoeing, hiking, climbing, bush craft, den building, orienteering, sailing and of course jetty jumping. We had an incredible time – making some beautiful memories and setting us up for an amazing year ahead! Well done Year 6! Here are some snippets from their week:
