Critical Workers – information for ACCESS places.

by | Jan 5, 2021 | 0 comments

The critical worker Access to school is only available if your child is unable to be looked after at home on any particular day/days.
Our remit during this National Lockdown is to provide remote learning in the first instance for all pupils.
The critical worker access to school places is 9am to 3.20pm Mon to Fri and will involve similar learning to that being provided remotely for those pupils able to stay at home.
Children will be kept in their Year Group bubbles.
School dinners will be provided with choices each day (Further details will be given when an Access place is confirmed)
Critical worker Access places are limited due to social distancing expectations in classrooms under the latest National Lockdown conditions. The limits are in place for the protection of pupils and staff.
Parents will need to indicate, in advance, the days when Access places are required.
To register an interest for critical worker Access places please email:  office@stmatthewsjarrow.co.uk by 2pm Tuesday 5 January 2021  indicating the days you require an Access place for the period up to 15 January 2021.
A list of Critical Worker categories is available on the GOV.UK website.
