On Monday, we welcomed a television crew from Look North, who came to do a piece of Joseph’s recent dance achievements and his ambition to go to ballet school in September. Joseph has been offered a place at two leading ballet schools in the country, including the Royal Ballet School in London, but needs to raise around £40,000 to help with boarding, travel and other fees. We have been amazed at the amount of support Joseph has received since the interview was aired and it appears that his story has touched many people. Thank you to all those, who have sent cheques directly to school – Joseph was overcome to receive such generous donations.
