Our Y5/6 football team competed in the South Tyneside Schools Bart Rippon trophy today and won a very close final on penalties against Hebburn Lakes. The team all displayed great behaviour and attitude throughout the day and played some lovely football. They were a credit to St Matthew’s and to their coaches Mr Brown and Mr Kelly. Well done Jayden, Josie, Zach, Tom, Sam, Harry, Joe, Pete and Johnny.
