Going for Gold – New Daily Mile Challenge

by | Jun 28, 2020 | 0 comments

Welcome to the final Daily Mile Challenge of this academic year. If we were at school, we would have focussed on the Tokyo 2020 Olympics during this time so we have decided that our final challenge will be ‘Going for Gold’.

So for the next 2 weeks, we would like the children to continue to complete their daily miles or some kind of daily exercise and each time they complete a mile they have to tick off a medal.  There are 14 medals altogether. The challenge will start on Monday 29th of June and end on Monday 13th of July.

The children can record their miles in 2 different ways:

  • They can design their own chart and draw a medal for each mile they complete. Once completed, they can take a photo of it and send it to their teacher – either through email or on Google Classroom.

Or

  • They can print off a chart from the website – stmatthewsrc.org – or Google Classroom and they can cross off a medal after each completed mile or daily exercise. Once completed, they can take a photo of it and send it to their teacher – either through email or on Google Classroom.

Who will become a golden medal winner?

How many medals can you achieve before the end of term?

Good Luck everyone!
