It was fantastic to welcome the lovely Mr Michael Willcock to school to commission our Mini Vinnies. The children held a joint assembly and were awarded their Mini Vinnie badges and certificates by Mrs Tolfrey and Mr Smith from St Matthew’s Parish. We can’t wait to see how the Mini Vinnies turn their concerns into actions over the coming months. Indeed, two of them are already shining the way. Natalia in Y6, made the brave decision to cut her hair and donate it to the Little Princess Trust, for children, who are need of hair wigs and Jess in Y6 has raised well over £500 for a special little boy in Sunderland, who needs donations to help aid his treatment. Jess swam over 7 miles throughout March to help with her fundraising efforts. We are so proud of both of these two beautiful young ladies.
