Year 1 have been working hard in English to try to impress the Gingerbread Man. He was very cheeky today and put a letter on the teacher’s back!

Year 1 had their first Science lesson today, on their new topic, Animals including Humans. We sang a song about different body parts and then used some post it notes to label a life sized body!

Well done to all of our medal winners from the Great North Run weekend. A special mention for Miss Jackson, who has raised over £600 for St Cuthbert’s Hospice. A massive well done to all our Reception Great North runners!

Year 1 found the Gingerbread Man in their class this morning! Unfortunately, he ran away. He left a letter telling us that he will come back if we work hard and learn his story.

Y1 put their smoothie recipes into practice today! Using all of the skills they have learnt to create their delicious fruit smoothies. The best part was they got to taste them, very happy children! Great job
