Today is Safer Internet Day and Year 1 have been learning about staying safe online. They have thought about the different ways they use the internet and who their trusted adults are if they need to ask for help.

This week is Children’s Mental Health week. Year 1 enjoyed learning about mental health. The theme this year is ‘My voice matters’, Year 1 thought about how important they all are and that every opinion counts.

In RSE today, Year 1 thought about things they have said or done that they are sorry for. They put down on paper some things they have done wrong, they then said sorry and put their paper in the bin.

Today is the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus. In RE, Year 1 listened to the story of Mary and Joseph taking baby Jesus to the Temple. They then acted out the story.
