Over the past few weeks Reception have been focusing on composing, manipulating and decomposing 2d and 3d shapes. We went on a shape hunt to discover where we could see the shapes in our environment.

Today, we had a visit from the RNLI to talk to us about water safety over the summer months. Year 2 were inspired by the water safety talk that they created posters to try to encourage others to stay safe near water.

Reception had so much fun painting pebbles to decorate our school grounds! We have beautiful flowers, ladybirds, bees and a caterpillar! Well done Reception, you all did a fantastic job!
