Hello to you all!

I have now officially retired from my post as Headteacher at St Matthew’s RC Primary School. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the children of St Matthew’s and their parents, parishioners, past pupils, governors, past colleagues and current staff colleagues for the lovely cards, gifts and kind words on my retirement. I greatly appreciate all of this and wish you all the best for the future. I also wish Mrs Eve Alderson good luck in the future as our new Headteacher. I know she is looking forward to meeting people and I know she will ensure St Matthew’s continues to go from strength to strength as a beacon in the community.

I hope you have all had a good summer break and good luck for the new academic year 2021/2022 starting next week.
