We were very happy to invite the volunteers from Bede’s Helping Hands to our assembly today, and are so grateful to them for taking the time to come and speak to the whole school. They told us all about the food parcels that they give out, and have asked each class to look at one, to see what they would like to see added, if they were receiving one. They also let us know about the charity shop that they run, where they raise money by recycling old clothes etc, including Christmas jumpers (please donate if you can!). Bede’s Helping Hands also do a lot of fun things in the community e.g. Halloween events and activities at Christmas, with Santa!

We were so happy to give them your food donations today, and we will continue to work as a team, helping Bede’s Helping Hands Food Bank with their wonderful work, throughout the year!
