Year 3 have been looking at capacity and volume in Maths. Today they used different sized jugs to test their friends on how much they had filled their jugs up by. They then challenged each other by asking if they added or poured out water what would they then have in their jug. They also used their knowledge of fractions to discuss how much a quarter of a litre is and how many they would need to fill a litre jug. Great maths knowledge Year 3
