St Matthew’s have won the Bart Rippon Cup for the 3rd consecutive year after a great performance by the whole team. The team won all of their group stage matches before playing Westoe Crown in the semi finals. The game was very close with the score ending 1-1 and the game going to penalties. A great save from Eddie saw us progress through to the final, where we played Cleadon. Both teams had great chances but again it went to a penalty shoot with Jools scoring the decisive penalty. A great performance from all. The team will now represent South Tyneside in the County Cup.
