In DT this afternoon, Y6 completed the last of their stretch activities- using learned sewing skills to explore creating simple appliqué designs. They are now equipped with the skills to begin making their own piece of textile work. Watch this space

Meanwhile, in Year 5, they used their measuring skills to accurately mark out a design template in preparation for their textile work. They found this a little tricky but persevered until they got it just right.

We can’t wait to see how their work develops over the coming weeks.
