After another truly amazing sporting year, St Matthew’s have been awarded the PE Gold Mark for their participation in sport across the year. Some of this years highlights include:

South Tyneside Runners Up (Girl’s Football)
Bishop’s Cup Finalists
South Tyneside Swimming Champions
South of Tyne Swimming Runners-up
South Tyneside Cricket Runners-up
Y5/6 Sportshall Athletics – 3rd place
Y4 Sportshall Athletics – 3rd place
South Tyneside Rugby semi-finalists
Individual winners at the South Tyneside Cross- Country
