Our Year 5/6 Cricket Team ended a great sporting week for St Matthews, by winning the South Tyneside Cricket Finals at Boldon Cricket Club. The team played Lord Blyton, West Boldon and East Boldon in the Finals and won all 3 of their matches, ending top of the group and therefore overall champions. The boys were commended for their fantastic overarm bowling, which was a great compliment as some have only just mastered this skill. St Matthew’s will now represent South Tyneside in the County Finals on June 29th. Good Luck, boys!
